Shopify and eBay stock sync for trading card sellers
Sell the same cards in your Shopify store and on eBay without selling one twice. Shopify keeps the stock, eBay follows, and eBay sales come back into Shopify.
Needs the Business plan or higher, a connected Shopify store and a connected eBay account.
What the stock sync does
Shopify is the stock master
When a card sells in your Shopify store, its quantity on eBay goes down. eBay shows the stock of the Shopify location you choose.
eBay sales reach Shopify
An eBay sale arrives in Shopify as an order tagged with the eBay order number, or as a stock change. You choose which. The sold card is no longer buyable in your shop, so it does not sell twice.
eBay listings for your Shopify cards
Shopify cards that are not on eBay yet get an eBay listing with the title, item specifics and stock image Direct Listing gives the same card. Your own photos can come from Shopify.
eBay prices follow your rule
Set the rule once, for example your Shopify price plus a markup for the eBay fees and a minimum price per listing. You decide whether eBay prices keep following it every day.
Works with the shop you already have
Fit 1
Shops filled by TCGPowerTools
TCGPowerTools products are recognised, also with German TCGPowerTools labels. eBay sales arrive as Shopify orders, so TCGPowerTools sees them and keeps Cardmarket in step as usual.
Fit 2
Shops built with NeoSatoshi
Products from our Shopify Direct Listing or our Shopify CSV export are recognised as the cards they are.
Fit 3
One card, one SKU
Every printing keeps its own SKU. Parallels, versions and variants are never merged, and when two products share one card, the sync does not guess between them.
Set up with a guided checklist
Connect and check
Connect Shopify and eBay. The checklist reads your products, recognises the cards and checks your eBay policies, marketplace and item location.
Read eBay once
Your existing eBay listings are read once so no card goes to eBay twice. Listings made outside the eBay inventory system, for example with File Exchange, can be taken over. The takeover is one way.
Free report and pilot
A free report shows which cards would go to eBay and at what price. A pilot then creates a few real listings that you check on eBay.
Preview and release
Before the release you see the first listings as they will go to eBay. Creating stays within the free eBay listing allowance you confirm; insertion fees beyond it are charged by eBay.
Which cards get eBay listings
New eBay listings are created automatically for Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars: Unlimited and Digimon Card Game cards from your Shopify store.
Football (soccer) cards and graded cards are not created automatically: list those with Direct Listing. A card whose exact printing is not certain is left out with its reason, so you can check it yourself.
Good to know
- Needs the Business plan or higher, a connected Shopify store and a connected eBay account.
- eBay shows the stock of one Shopify location, and eBay sales are booked there.
- Cardmarket is not connected directly. If TCGPowerTools fills your shop, TCGPowerTools keeps Cardmarket and Shopify in step itself.
- Creating Shopify products from eBay listings is not a self-service feature. We do that move with you, for free.
- Switching the sync off stops eBay quantity changes. Your eBay listings stay online until you end them.
Already selling on eBay? We move your eBay stock to Shopify for free
Many card sellers start on eBay and later want their own Shopify store next to it. You do not have to create every card again by hand: we move your existing eBay stock into Shopify together with you, at no cost.
- Tell us about your eBay listings and your Shopify store.
- We move your eBay stock into Shopify together with you.
- Then the stock sync keeps eBay and Shopify in step. The sync needs the Business plan or higher; the move itself is free.

Questions about the stock sync
- How does the Shopify and eBay stock sync stop overselling?
- Shopify is the stock master. A Shopify sale lowers the quantity on eBay, and an eBay sale reaches Shopify as an order or a stock change. A card that sold on one channel does not stay for sale on the other.
- Which plan do I need?
- The Business plan or higher, plus a connected Shopify store and a connected eBay account. In the dashboard the sync has its own page, Shopify ↔ eBay Sync.
- Does it create eBay listings for cards that are only in my Shopify store?
- Yes, for Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars: Unlimited and Digimon Card Game. Each listing gets the title, item specifics and stock image Direct Listing gives the same card, or your photos from Shopify. Football (soccer) cards and graded cards are not created automatically.
- What happens to the listings I already have on eBay?
- They are read once, so no card goes to eBay a second time. Listings created outside the eBay inventory system, for example with File Exchange or on the eBay website, can be taken over so the sync can change their quantity. The takeover is one way, and you decide per group.
- Does it work with TCGPowerTools?
- Yes. Shops filled by TCGPowerTools are recognised, also with German TCGPowerTools labels. eBay sales then arrive in Shopify as orders, because TCGPowerTools only sees orders. Cardmarket is not connected to NeoSatoshi directly: TCGPowerTools keeps Cardmarket and Shopify in step itself.
- Will it cost me eBay insertion fees?
- The sync respects the free listing allowance you confirm in the setup and stops creating listings when it is used up, unless you choose otherwise. Insertion fees beyond your allowance are charged by eBay. The free report and the preview cost nothing.
- How are the eBay prices set?
- By a rule you choose, for example your Shopify price plus a markup for the eBay fees, with a minimum price per listing. Before you apply it, the setup shows a few of your cards with their Shopify and eBay price.
- Can you move my eBay stock to Shopify?
- Yes, as a free service. Creating Shopify products from eBay listings is not a self-service feature, so we move your existing eBay stock into Shopify together with you. Write to info@neosatoshi.com or use the assistant chat in your dashboard. The stock sync afterwards needs the Business plan or higher.
