How do I move my eBay card inventory to Shopify?

Direct answer

If you already sell trading cards on eBay and want your own Shopify store next to it, NeoSatoshi moves your existing eBay stock into Shopify together with you, as a free service. It is not a self-service button: write to info@neosatoshi.com or use the assistant chat in the NeoSatoshi dashboard. Afterwards the Shopify and eBay stock sync (Business plan or higher) keeps both channels in step, so a card does not sell twice.

Why a Shopify store next to eBay

eBay brings buyers who search for one card. A Shopify store is where they can come back to you: your own shop, your own shipping rules and your own customer list. Many card sellers keep both and want the same stock on each, without listing every card twice by hand.

The usual ways to move eBay listings

  • By hand. Create every card again in Shopify. Fine for a few cards, slow for a whole shop.
  • eBay export and Shopify CSV import. Possible, but eBay titles and item specifics rarely map cleanly to one Shopify product per card with its own SKU, and duplicates are easy to create.
  • With us, for free. We move your existing eBay stock into Shopify together with you.

What we do for you, free

Creating Shopify products from eBay listings is not a self-service feature in NeoSatoshi. We offer it as a free service instead:

  1. Write to info@neosatoshi.com or open the assistant chat in your NeoSatoshi dashboard, and tell us about your eBay listings and your Shopify store.
  2. We move your eBay stock into Shopify together with you.
  3. You set up the stock sync with its guided checklist. It reads your eBay listings once so no card goes to eBay twice.

After the move: one stock for both channels

With the stock sync, Shopify is the stock master. A Shopify sale lowers the quantity on eBay, and an eBay sale reaches Shopify as an order or a stock change. New cards you add to Shopify later can get an eBay listing too, with the title, item specifics and stock image Direct Listing gives the same card, for Pokémon, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars: Unlimited and Digimon Card Game. Football (soccer) cards and graded cards are listed with Direct Listing instead.

Good to know

  • The move is free. The stock sync afterwards needs the Business plan or higher, a connected Shopify store and a connected eBay account.
  • Listings made outside the eBay inventory system, for example with File Exchange or on the eBay website, can be taken over by the sync so a Shopify sale lowers them too. The takeover is one way.
  • eBay shows the stock of one Shopify location.
  • Cardmarket is not connected directly. If you also sell on Cardmarket, TCGPowerTools keeps Cardmarket and Shopify in step itself.

How the sync works step by step is on the Shopify and eBay stock sync page, and the reasons cards oversell are in how to avoid overselling cards on eBay and Shopify.
