Is there a soccer card scanner for Topps and Panini cards?

Direct answer

Yes. NeoSatoshi reads football (soccer) cards from Topps, Panini and other makers from a photo or scan, one card per photo, and the front is enough. It suggests the card (player, set and number) and the parallel, you confirm both in one review table, and it prices the card from active eBay listings for exactly that card and parallel. It does not grade condition, and graded football slabs are not supported yet.

What the scanner reads

Upload one card per photo or scan. Recognition suggests the card with player, set and number and shows the five best suggestions, so a wrong first pick is one click (or one key) away. It also suggests a parallel, clearly marked as a suggestion. Your photo becomes the listing image, because there are no stock images for football cards.

What you still confirm

  • The parallel. It is always yours to confirm. Check the pattern within one print run on your photo, for example Pink Refractor or Pink Wave Refractor. The full list of parallels can be filtered by print run, and a parallel that is not listed can be typed in.
  • The serial number. For a numbered parallel you can enter your copy's number, for example 12 of /250. It is optional; without it the listing says /250.
  • The rookie tick (RC). It is set when the checklist marks the card as a rookie card. Not every checklist does, so you can tick or untick it.
  • A missing card. Search it by player, set or number in the review table.

Which products are covered

Football products from Topps, Panini and other makers, for example Topps Chrome, Finest, Merlin and Match Attax and Panini Prizm, Select and Donruss.

From scan to listing

  1. In Listing Cards, pick Football with the card game switch. Before your first football scan you are asked once whether your confirmed photos may be used as catalog images; without that agreement football recognition does not start.
  2. Upload one card per photo or scan.
  3. Confirm card and parallel row by row: keys 1 to 5 pick a card, B sets Base, P opens all parallels and Enter confirms and moves on.
  4. Check the price: the middle asking price of active eBay listings for exactly that card and parallel, with the number of listings. Type a price where there is none.
  5. List directly on eBay or Shopify (Business plan or higher), or download the eBay CSV, the Shopify CSV or a custom export on any plan.

What it does not do

  • It does not grade condition. Every card starts as Near Mint (NM) or your default condition, and you set it.
  • Graded football slabs cannot be listed as slabs yet.
  • Several cards in one photo are not detected for football cards.
  • There is no Cardmarket path: Cardmarket does not sell football cards, so the TCGPowerTools file is not offered. There are no Cardmarket or TCGplayer prices for football cards.
  • The daily price sync does not update football listings yet.
