How do I tell which version and printing of a Star Wars: Unlimited card I have?
Direct answer
Two questions decide it. The subtitle says which version of the character you have, because the name alone is shared: Darth Vader has many versions. The set code and number on the card say which printing you have, because Standard, Hyperspace, Prestige, Showcase and promos have their own numbers and their own prices. NeoSatoshi takes both from the photo where it can prove them. Where it cannot, the row has no price and shows a picker.
The version: name and subtitle
A card is its name and its subtitle. Two cards with the same name and different subtitles are different cards with different game text, so a listing without the subtitle does not say what you are selling. NeoSatoshi therefore shows the subtitle everywhere: in the table, in the search, in the pickers and in your titles, written as "Name, Subtitle".
The printing: set code and number
Standard, Hyperspace, Prestige, Showcase and promos of one card each have their own number and their own price. So compare the set code and the number on your card with the option you pick, not only the artwork.
What NeoSatoshi does when the photo does not prove it
- Only the name could be read. This may be another version of the character. The row says "Check the version", has no price and is not finished until you pick. The versions load by themselves in step 2.
- The card is known, the printing is not. The row says "Pick the printing" and has no price. Every option shows the image, set, number, kind of print and price, and one button loads all printings of the card.
- Only the set and number could be read. Such a read is sometimes wrong, so the row keeps its price and shows a warning until you confirm the card or pick another one.
- A row without a proven printing is never filled with a minimum price or the price of another printing.
Leaders and bases
Leaders and bases are printed sideways, and leaders have two sides. NeoSatoshi shows them in full in the table and the pickers, and in step 2 a button shows the other side of a leader. Compare the set code and number here with particular care.
Searching by hand
The manual search finds a card by its name in any of the five languages, with or without the subtitle, and by set code and number, for example SOR 10. A hit is the card; pick the printing after that. For the whole workflow see how to sell Star Wars: Unlimited cards online.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a card have no price?
Because its version or printing is not known yet. Pick it in step 2 and the price of that printing appears.
Can I change a pick later?
Yes. Mark the card as incorrect and pick again in step 2, or search for it in step 3.
