When the marketplace handles VAT
In the EU, a marketplace counts as the supplier itself, and handles the VAT, in two cases: goods from outside the EU in consignments of up to EUR 150, and sales of goods already in the EU by sellers based outside the EU (in German law: § 3 Abs. 3a UStG). This affects, for example, Swiss sellers shipping low-value cards to EU buyers through eBay. On eBay.com, the sales tax the buyer pays is part of the total that eBay charges its percentage on.

Why are some fee fields empty?
Because we only fill in fees we could read on the official fee page. Cardmarket and CardTrader block automated access to their fee pages, Ricardo does not name a rate for trading cards, and Shopify shows its EU card rates only to visitors from those countries. Enter these fees from your account; the result warns you while a fee is missing.
Is anything I enter stored?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to us or saved.
