Bulk card value calculator

Count your cards per category, enter a price per card and your selling fee, and see the total value, the value after fees and the value per card. Runs in your browser, nothing is stored.

By NeoSatoshi

Short answer: bulk value = count × price per card for each category, minus the fees of your selling channel. In our own selling, modern bulk brings about 1 to 2 cents per card and vintage bulk around 10 cents. Most of the value, though, sits in the cards you pull out and sell as singles first.

How to use the calculator

  1. Sort. Split by language first, pull out everything worth selling as a single, then count the rest by category. The fast way is in how to sort bulk cards.
  2. Count. For large piles, weighing is enough: we measured about 1.8 g per card.
  3. Enter a price per card. Use what your channel really pays: collector groups, eBay lots and stores pay very differently.
  4. Enter your fees. Commission plus payment fee in percent. The fee calculator gives you the exact numbers per marketplace.

Exact prices instead of estimates: scan your cards with NeoSatoshi

A bulk calculator works with averages. Before you sell a pile as bulk, check the individual cards: a card that looks like bulk can be worth many times the bulk price.

  • Upload photos or scans, including several cards per photo (binder pages, for example); best results with up to about 20 cards per photo.
  • Every card is identified by set and card number, plus name, rarity and language, for Pokémon, One Piece and Disney Lorcana.
  • Current prices per card: Cardmarket 30-day average, trend, 7-day average and low, plus TCGplayer. Reverse holo and First Edition use their own price where one exists.
  • You set the condition: it is not detected; every card starts as Near Mint.
  • Then sell straight away: export for Cardmarket (TCGPowerTools CSV), eBay and Shopify, or list directly on eBay and Shopify.

Everyone gets 10 free scans per day without an account; a free account adds 50 scans per month. More on the Pokémon card scanner for sellers page.

Frequently asked questions

How much is Pokémon bulk worth per card?

In our own selling, modern commons and uncommons go for about 1 to 2 cents per card in collector groups and 0.5 to 1 cent at local stores. Vintage bulk from 1999 to 2006 runs around 10 cents per card, depending on condition. Reverse holos, holos and double rares vary too much by set for one number: price them from current market data.

Which cards should I pull out of bulk and sell as singles?

We use roughly 20 cents as the line: cards worth about that or more are usually worth listing as singles if your listing process is fast. Below that, fees, packing and picking time eat the margin. Also pull special versions such as stamped cards and alternate prints, since they are separate products with their own price.

Are the example prices in the calculator market prices?

No. They are examples from our own selling and change with the market, your channel and the condition of your cards. Replace them with your own numbers. Categories without an example are empty on purpose.

How do I get exact prices for every card?

Photograph or scan the cards and upload them to NeoSatoshi. It identifies each card by set and card number, adds name, rarity and language, and shows current Cardmarket prices (30-day average, trend, 7-day average, low) plus TCGplayer. Condition is not detected: every card starts as Near Mint and you set the condition yourself.
