How to sell Disney Lorcana cards online: channels, pricing and a fast workflow

Direct answer

Most Lorcana sellers use three channels: Cardmarket for European buyers (bulk uploads usually go through a TCGPowerTools CSV), eBay for worldwide reach, and their own Shopify store for regular customers. Buyers expect the exact card and version, the right language, the finish (foil or non-foil) stated clearly, an honest condition and clear photos of the actual card. Price every copy from the current market price of its own finish, with Cardmarket as the European reference and TCGplayer as the main US reference.

Where to sell Lorcana cards

  • Cardmarket. The usual singles marketplace for European buyers. Every card has a product page where sellers compete on price, condition and reputation. Listing card by card works for small volumes; bulk uploads need a commercial (professional) seller account and usually go through a TCGPowerTools CSV import.
  • eBay. Worldwide reach, fixed price or auction, and buyers who search by card name, version, set and finish. A good fit for higher-value singles and buyers outside Europe. Your title, item details and photos decide whether you are found.
  • Your own Shopify store. Your brand, your customer list and full control over presentation. You pay for the store and for payment processing, and you bring the traffic yourself, so it works best alongside a marketplace.

Many sellers combine them: Cardmarket for steady singles sales, eBay for higher-value cards and international buyers, Shopify for customers who come back. What multiplies with every extra channel is data entry, so the workflow matters as much as the channel choice. For a channel by channel view see how sellers manage inventory across marketplaces.

What Lorcana buyers expect from a listing

  • The exact card. Name, subtitle (the version name printed under the character name), set and card number. Many characters exist in several versions, so the name alone is not enough.
  • The language. Lorcana is printed in several languages, and buyers filter by language on Cardmarket and look for it in eBay titles.
  • The finish. A foil and a non-foil copy of the same card are two different items at two different prices. Name the finish in the title and in the item details.
  • An honest condition. Near Mint, Excellent and so on, set by you after looking at the card, with any defect named. Photos support the condition statement, they do not replace it.
  • Clear photos of the actual card. Even light, no glare, the front and ideally the back, so buyers can see the finish and the edges.

Pricing basics

Start from current market data, not from what you paid or from one eBay listing. For European buyers, Cardmarket prices (30-day average, trend, 7-day average and low) are the usual reference. For US buyers, TCGplayer is the main reference. Always compare the price of the right finish: foil and non-foil copies have separate prices, and the gap differs from card to card.

  • Use the 30-day average for stable cards and look at the trend for cards that are moving.
  • Check thinly traded cards (rare printings, promos) by hand. A market price based on few sales can be far off.
  • Set a minimum price so cheap cards do not sell below your shipping and handling cost.
  • On eBay, compare with active listings of the same card, version, finish and language before you undercut anyone.

Foil pricing has its own rules, covered in how to list and price Lorcana foil cards.

An efficient workflow with NeoSatoshi

  1. Open Listing Cards, choose Disney Lorcana under Card game and add photos or scans. Several cards per photo work, with best results up to about 20 cards per photo. With a document scanner, the watched scan folder in desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave or Opera picks up new scans automatically.
  2. Click Start detection. NeoSatoshi identifies each card (name, set, card number, rarity, ink and type) and reads the language from the printed line at the bottom left of the card. English, German, French and Italian Lorcana cards are supported.
  3. Review the table: mark rows Correct or Incorrect, set the Foil column for every copy and set the condition (every card starts as Near Mint). When the printing is uncertain, for example an Enchanted version or a reprint of the same card, step 2 shows the other printings so you can pick the one you hold.
  4. In step 4, review the prices. NeoSatoshi shows Cardmarket prices for the finish you chose, and you can add a markup, price rules per price range, a minimum price and rounding.
  5. Export: a TCGPowerTools CSV for Cardmarket, an eBay or Shopify CSV, or, on the Business plan and up, direct listings on eBay and Shopify. eBay item specifics such as the game (Disney Lorcana TCG) and the manufacturer (Ravensburger) are filled in, and eBay and Shopify templates are kept per game.

The Disney Lorcana listing software page gives an overview, and the Cardmarket listing workflow explains the TCGPowerTools route. If you scan with a document scanner, the scanner tutorial shows the setup (the flow is the same for every game), and more short videos are on the NeoSatoshi YouTube channel.

What NeoSatoshi does and does not do

  • It identifies the card (set and number, plus name, rarity and language) and adds market prices. It does not judge condition: you set the condition of every card.
  • It supports Lorcana cards in English, German, French and Italian. Japanese, Chinese and other Lorcana languages are not supported.
  • It reaches Cardmarket through the TCGPowerTools CSV. There is no direct Cardmarket upload, and you need a TCGPowerTools account and a commercial Cardmarket seller account for bulk uploads.
  • Direct listing on eBay and Shopify needs the Business plan or higher. The CSV exports are available on every plan.
  • It does not check authenticity, and it does not list on TCGplayer, CardTrader or Ricardo.

Common mistakes

  • Listing a foil copy at the non-foil price, or the other way round.
  • Leaving out the subtitle, so buyers cannot tell which version of a character it is.
  • A wrong or missing language. Buyers filter by language, and a card in another language than described counts as not as described.
  • Pricing rare printings and promos from a thin market without checking recent sales.
  • Selling the same copy twice because it is listed on two channels. NeoSatoshi does not yet sync stock between Shopify and eBay automatically, so decide which copy goes where or take it down on the other channel when it sells.

Frequently asked questions

Can I sell Lorcana cards on Cardmarket as a private seller?

Yes, private sellers can list cards one by one on Cardmarket. Bulk uploads with a CSV file, which is how TCGPowerTools works, are only available to commercial seller accounts.

Which Lorcana languages does NeoSatoshi recognise?

English, German, French and Italian. The language is read per card from the printed line at the bottom left and can be changed in the Language column of the review table.

Does NeoSatoshi detect whether a Lorcana card is foil?

It can recognise foil on the photo; hovering the Foil cell then shows that it was detected from the photo. Check the column yourself before you export, because the finish decides the price. Printings that only exist as foil, such as Enchanted, Epic and Iconic, are fixed to foil.

Does NeoSatoshi grade the condition of my cards?

No. Detection identifies the card, it never judges centering, edges or surface. Every card starts as Near Mint and you set the real condition per row or for many rows at once with Bulk Edit.

Do I need a paid plan?

Not to start. Everyone gets 10 free card scans per day, and the TCGPowerTools, eBay and Shopify CSV exports are available on every plan. Direct listing on eBay and Shopify and the automated price sync need the Business plan or higher.
